Thank you.
Gavin.
Beautiful set of images – really atmospheric. I fully agree – cemetaries are peaceful, relazing and extremely photogenic!
Thanks so much.
Cheers, Gavin.
Strong and sad photographs… Painfull somehow.
Agreed. Thank you.
Me too, i find the cemetery peaceful an relaxing.
I too find it a peaceful place. Sweet pictures of the gravestone details
Thanks Gary.
I didn’t get told off for taking photos that day.
Gavin.
told off? That has never happened to me and I’ve wandered around with two standard poodles. Were you there at night?
Last time I was there during the day, two of the workers told me that photography was not allowed.
I wanted to bite, but resisted.
Gav.
Nice photos. I love cemeteries, too. One of my favorite places in Paris is the Pere Lachaise cemetery.
‘Pere Lachaise’.
I would love to see it.
This is an excellent set. Cracked is amazing.
Many thank yous.
Gavin.
Une belle série sur des articles funéraires, qui vont rejoindre doucement le propriétaire des lieux.
merci beaucoup.
C’est encore plus calme la nuit.
All the pictures of broken, worn down death stuff gave another depth to this series of photos. Great post!
Thanks.
Four Feet Over Six Feet Under
Lustful need for one another
Turned combustible
And she had teenage kids awake at her place
Mine was thirty miles away.
She led me to a grassy, well kept graveyard
Where the night was still as death
I asked, “Aren’t you afraid here?”
“It’s the safest place in town,” she said.
We made love on a marble slab at midnight
Undisturbed beneath a sickle moon
But I did not go back with her again
Into that quiet place
For reasons still uncertain.
Thank you.
Cool text.

an already old paln of mines which still is lying in the refrigerator (hopefully not in a grave
) ….
great series. Cool subject for a b&w series. Maybe later i’ll have some more time to comment on specific pics.
No i am not afraid of the death, though dying itself can be horrible of course depending of the circumstances.. Just hope the process itself will also be peaceful …
